John was born in Adrian, Michigan. He joined the firm in 1973, and became
a Principal of Colombo & Colombo, P.C. in 1980.
Education - Degrees
In 1967, Mr. Hartwig received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the
University of Michigan. He went on to earn his M.B.A. in 1969 and
his J.D. in 1972 from Wayne State University. He was admitted to the
Michigan Bar in 1973.

Mr. Hartwig practices in the following areas: Estate Planning, Real Estate,
and Small Businesses, including Automotive Dealerships.
